Java Developer
Echo is looking for an experienced software developer who is committed to delivering quality code in a timely fashion. The applicant should enjoy working in a casual but fast-paced development department. Proven software development skills in Java specifically required. Must have the ability and desire to generate creative solutions.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Java J2EE (5+ years)
- Web Development (5+ years) – Servlets, JSP, javascript, HTML and CSS (5+ years)
- XML, XSLT, XSD – preferably experience using JAVA libraries
- Relational databases – SQL scripting, Stored Procedures, prefer SQL Server experience
- Application servers and servlet containers – preferably Tomcat, JBoss, and/or JRun
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong team player
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities:

Software Tester
The Software Tester, as a member of the QA Team, develops or participates in the development of feature lists and specifications. The Software Tester is responsible for tests on the resulting software. Responsibilities also include design and maintenance of the application database and serving as a back-up support when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct and/or participate in the formal and informal product requirement reviews at predetermined point throughout the development life cycle.
- Participate in the development of product feature lists.
- Assist when needed in debugging software during the development process.
- Clear, precise descriptions of actions leading to software failure and bugs are provided to programmers.
- Create and maintain accurate, complete test plans.
- Review, edit and approve product documentation as requested.
- Manage testing process for assigned product.
- Maintain installation directory with appropriate versions of application, scripts and reports.
- Research software issues that have been escalated to Tier II Support or Development.
- Assist Support staff in trouble-shooting customer issues and accessing resources for further research.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to communicate effective both orally and in writing.
- Meticulous and precise in identifying software bugs and recording enhancements requests.
- Clear understanding of customer needs and existing product capabilities and design.
- Technical skills including use of SQL tools, testing tools, pertinent operating systems, etc.
- Proficiency with Crystal Report Writer.
- Understanding of relational database design and the use of tools for maintenance of database.
- Require ability to work well in a team setting and strong communication skills.
- Ability to think logically.
- Ability to creatively problem-solve.
Education Requirements:
Experience with various operating systems and software products. Prior testing experience preferred.
Marketing Assistant
1. The Marketing Assistant will work with the VP of Business Operations, Director of Marketing and Account Managers to identify targeted mailings and campaigns
- Assemble campaign lists and work with Sales & Marketing Admin to send out Mailings
- Do research in campaign target states to help determine hot button issues for each state
- Create calling script for each campaign
- Make campaign follow up calls that drive people to the campaign specific plan of action.
- Based on calling campaign feedback, work with Marketing Director to fine-tune message for that state or for general message
- Update CRM with any additional leads information
2. Maintain CRM with up-to-date contact information, including importing of shows/Conference Lists
3. Create marketing collateral as directed by the Marketing Director
4. Provide general web-based demos on Clinician’s Desktop, schedule and host demos.
5. Attend industry conferences on occasion to represent The Echo Group
Job Requirements

Regional Account Manager
The Echo Group has been a leader in providing electronic health records and billing software to behavioral health organizations across America for over 30 years. We are seeking an outstanding sales executive to fill the role of Regional Account Manager working with our existing customers and generating new business for our software and services.
The Echo Group offers a strong benefit package, base salary and aggressive commission plan for top performers. We are currently interested in speaking to candidates who are interested in working from our home office in Conway, NH, the Northwest, Southwest or Rocky Mountains regions.
In this position you will create success by:
- Generating sales of all Echo products and services to new and existing customers. This includes Clinician’s Desktop/Revenue Manager, ShareCare; Transaction Management, ASP, IT consulting services.
- Managing existing customer accounts to ensure client satisfaction, reference status and add-on sales.
- Represent Echo at trade shows, conferences and seminars on a national scale.
- Exert excellent skills in managing a complex sale of enterprise software including prospecting, needs assessment, presentations and closing sales opportunities through long sales cycles.
- Promptly and professionally respond to, and maintain communication with, interested prospective clients.
- Learn Echo’s electronic health record and billing software.
- Develop a clear understanding of the behavioral healthcare industry.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales quota.
- Perform software presentations and demonstrations via the Internet, and at client locations and at industry events.
Job Requirements

Professional Specialist Services
The Professional Services Specialist is responsible for conducting successful software solution implementations, including delivering user and system administrator training, Crystal training, consultations and technical components of product configurations. Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies internally and externally, and the potential application to client engagements, is an on-going expectation in this role. This position has no direct report supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate as member of project team providing the highest quality services
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Echo products and services
- Deliver Echo training, configuration and custom report services at customer site and via the web
- Participate in customer consultations and produce deliverables which demonstrate knowledge of how customers do business and how their workflow will be impacted using Echo software
- Configure Echo software based on customer, federal, state and county requirements
- Generate billable hours as per defined requirements
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to PHI information in all agency and internal communication
- Resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
- General knowledge of information technology, including networks, PCs and server hardware/software

Software Engineering
Come work with our software development department in developing new functionality and software customizations. Responsibilities could include such areas as custom screen design, Crystal XI report development, Database configuration, etc. Learn how to work with various programming languages and tools including Java, Java Script, J2EE, Eclipse, HTML, Delphi and Cold Fusion. Learn about the intricacies of Microsoft SQL server and how to run queries, write complex scripts, and how to run traces between an application and the I/O with the associated databases.
Information Technology
Be able to put IT training to use. Learn how to build and maintain servers in both Windows and Linux environments. Learn how to implement virtualized software environments, work in an Active Directory configuration, review firewall settings, remote user access, etc. Work with other network experts as they maintain a sophisticated network environment. Observe how they monitor the system, address hardware failures, address network security and a host of other common day networking challenges.
